Honorary graduands

Twice a year, the University of Hull awards honorary degrees to people who we feel have significantly supported the University or the local community. Staff at the University nominate people for consideration by the honorary degrees committee.

This winter, the University will be awarding honorary degrees to the following people:

• Mr Alec Gill
• Mr Paul Sewell
• Mr Nick Barmby
• Dr Benjamin Zephaniah
• Professor Dave Barclay
• Dame Mary Tanner
