How to apply
Our accommodation guarantee
All unaccompanied new full-time Undergraduate
students who apply for accommodation by 1 September 2012 are
guaranteed a place in University owned, managed or directed
accommodation.
You have your offer of a place to study here... so what
happens next?
Undergraduates applying via UCAS
Between 9 and 11 May 2012 you should receive
an email which will be sent to your personal email
address registered with UCAS. Please check the
email address you registered with UCAS and check your junk mail for
this message. The email will contain instructions on
how to register your details in readiness for using the
accommodation on-line application system.
The on-line accommodation application system
will open on Wednesday 16 May 2012 at 7am (UK Time).
If you are holding a Conditional or
Unconditional offer, as part of the application process
you will be required to pay a deposit of £150 using the on-line
payment system (with the exception of Insurance applicants, see
below).
Insurance applicants
You will not be required to pay a £150 deposit
until you have accepted a place at the University and received an
offer of accommodation. Applications received from insurance
applicants will not be processed until the University becomes your
firm choice.
Students accepting a place of study after May
2012 will receive accommodation information in one of our regular
mailouts.
Details of how to apply for accommodation are
included in the publication
Student Living - Accommodation Guide 2012-13.
