The Scheme

The University has access to good quality, furnished private-sector accommodation close to the Hull Campus which is rented out by landlords and a group of students' housing companies.

Local landlords, who are members of The Scheme, operate this accommodation and standards are in accordance with requirements laid down by an accreditation scheme, including gas and electrical safety certification.

The accommodation comprises of

  • single rooms in furnished, self-catering flats and houses of 2-12 students, located in popular student residential areas close to the campus

or

  • single rooms (including a small number of en-suite rooms) in a self-catered private hall of residence located close to the Museum Quarter in the city centre. For more information, visit www.pacificcourt.co.uk.

Fees

Prices range from £30 to £90 per week. An average rent would be £55 non inclusive of bills and £75 inclusive.

Students directed to make their accommodation arrangements via The Scheme will be contacted by the Accommodation Office in September.

The Scheme has a dedicated member of staff based in the Accommodation Office.
