If Things Go Wrong Last updated on 10/7/2016 Print this page The University understands that sometimes things don't always go to plan. Illnesses, bereavements, family, work and other commitments can affect your ability to concentrate on your studies. This can sometimes lead to you not achieving the grades that you would expect. The University offers support for these situations through the Mitigating Circumstances process and the Academic Appeals process. Although the University aims to provide first class teaching, services and facilities, sometimes students may feel that we have not met these expectations. In these instances, the University has a formal Complaints Process. In all these areas, help and advice is available from a variety of sources.
