Our Accommodation Guarantee

All Undergraduate students who accept a place at the University of Hull Scarborough Campus by 1 August and apply for a place in University accommodation by 1 September are guaranteed an offer of a place in our owned, managed or directed stock of accommodation.

What happens next?

Please read page on ‘How to Apply’. If you have an offer (either conditional or unconditional) please pay your £150 deposit using the online payment facility. Note:     

Provisional contracts for University Managed Houses will be sent out at the end of August / early September.

Actual contracts for Cayley Halls will be sent out at the end of August.

Insurance Applicants: Do not pay your £150 deposit until you have accepted a place at the University and received an offer of accommodation.

Residence applications received after 1 September may be directed to head leased/private sector accommodation detailed in the Accommodation Guide.

Deposit and method of payment

You are required to pay a £150 deposit which should be paid using the online payment facility.The deposit will be transferred to your residence account and held as a damage deposit until the end of your residence contract.  Any additional cleaning charges will also be deducted from the deposit.

In the event that you do not take up the offer of accommodation, the £150 will be refunded, (Please note:The University Student Financial Services Office will endeavor to make any such refunds by the end of October 2012).

Residence fees

Residence fees are due in three installments payable from the start of your contract, regardless of when you arrive.You are required to pay the three installments by 31st October 2012, 31st January 2013 and 30th April 2013.
