Open Squash Championships 2016
Some of the biggest names in World squash are to play at the
University of Hull this month as the Allam British Open
Championships are again hosted in the city.
The tournament runs from March 19 - 27, and begins with the
qualifying rounds at the University of Hull on March 19 and 20.
The championships is sponsored by leading East Yorkshire
businessman, Hull alumnus and honorary graduate Dr Assem Allam,
with the University of Hull once again being one of the events
associate partners and host venue.
For the first time, the University will also host eight
first-round matches, the most held at our Cottingham Road
squash facilities since the tournament was sponsored and brought to
the city by Dr Allam in 2012.
