Get Active Campus Sport

The Get Active programme at the University of Hull provides opportunities across both Hull and Scarborough campuses and the halls of residence to get involved in sport with its main emphasis being social and fun. The Get Active programme welcomes all students and staff at the University of Hull who are looking for a more informal opportunity to play sport.

Just Play Football

Just Play Football  
What is it? FA Mars Just Play is a new national football initiative aimed to provide football playing opportunities for adult players. Gives the chance to go and play football in informal but organised activities and games. 
Cost and Payment £1.00 per session. Payment to be taken by Just Play co-ordinators.
Equipment Participants do not need to bring equipment. All equipment provided by Just Play Co-ordinators. Just bring your boots!
Additional Information Friday session- every 4th week will be a mini competition where players can compete in 5 A-Side. Players do not need to register but just turn up on the day!

Run England

Run England Group  Run England logo
What is it?

The University of Hull Sports and Fitness Centre is offering you the chance to join 'Run England' which is a jogging/running group for everyone, regardless of age, size, shape or ability.

In other words, you don't need to be a good runner or have run before.

Cost and Payment There are currently no joining fees!
Additional Information Shower and changing facilities are available. Runs are co-ordinated by fully qualified run leaders who can tailor sessions for groups of mixed ability to suit everyone’s needs and expectations.

No Strings Badminton

No Strings Badminton  Sports Centre Badminton
What is it?

No Strings Badminton is all about fun, friends and fitness.

No Strings Badminton is a badminton initiative that makes it extremely sociable to just grab a racket, rally around friends and head on court for some convenient 'pay and play' sessions where you get to call the shots.

Cost and payment £1.60 per session and must have a minimum Pay to Play Membership. Participants pay on arrival at reception.
Equipment No equipment needed; equipment provided by our No Strings Officer if necessary.

Campus Sport @ Beverley Road Baths

Swimming Beverley Road Baths
What is it?

The University of Hull Sports Development team is pleased to announce £1 swimming sessions at Beverley Road Baths for all University of Hull Students.

As part of a Sportivate funded project the Sports Development team is working in partnership with Hull City Council and the Humber Sports Partnership to provide casual swimming for students at the University of Hull.

All you have to do is visit Beverley Road Baths, show your University of Hull student card and register for the offer.

Additional Information

Beverley Road Baths are only 1.2 Miles from Campus approximately 25 minutes walk. Turn Left out of the front of the Campus and head east along Cottingham Road to the cross roads with Beverley Road. (Approx 0.6 Miles). Turn Right onto Beverley Road (at Lidl), follow for 0.6miles. Beverley Road Baths are on the left hand side (opposite a small Tesco).

Buses from Hull Campus (Cottingham Road) are 105 and 102.

What is it?

The Inter Hall league at the University of Hull are regular, organised, competitive football leagues for participants of all levels with an emphasis on fun and sportsmanship.

The league is open to students from the Halls of Residence at the University of Hull. Why not represent your hall or block and enter a team!
Cost and Payment

£40.00 per team (In a squad of 8= £5 per player!) 

Entry payable upfront. Maximum squad of 10 players.
