The Gateway Programme is a partnership between the University of Hull and schools and colleges in the Hull area. The programme includes events and activities such as... Advice and guidance sessions Student shadowing Taster courses and conferences enabling 6th-formers to discover what study in a particular subject at Hull involves Opportunities to use some University facilities Links with University tutors who can advise you on certain subject areas The opportunity to attend 'Summer School', which develops study skills and helps build confidence in your ability Gateway is appropriate for those who have the ability to succeed in Higher Education but may not feel confident that they can (or wish to) progress to university.
