Monica teaches Spanish oral classes at degree level, Business Spanish, Spanish Passport and supervises students on the Spanish Year Abroad modules.

She initially worked at the University of Hull from 2013 to 2016, when she also contributed to Spanish taster sessions to promote the language and culture in secondary schools in the East Yorkshire area.

Monica returned to the University in 2017 to work as a Spanish Lector. She is interested in developing strategies to increase students’ confidence in oral language classes.

Monica aims to promote a positive learning environment and the application of group dynamics theory in the language classroom.
